Tina Gao's Chow

I truly feel so fortunate to be following my dream job at MAGIC 106.7, combining my passions for broadcasting, travel and of course FOOD.  From April 5-9, I had the opportunity to revisit the breathaking Caribbean gem of St. Lucia with our Director of Marketing & Promotion, Rob Hogan.  We stayed at Sandals Grande St. Lucian Spa & Beach Resort and WOW, talk about sheer luxury and paradise!

Of course, the reason I was in St. Lucia was to scope things out for you (and all the other awesome MAGIC listeners) to bring back firsthand experiences and give away Sandals trips on the air!  A big component of what I do on these trips is interviewing the wonderful resort staff.

I was lucky enough to speak with Valentin Osolos, Director of Food & Beverage and he brought me a mouthwatering plate of Chilean sea bass from their signature seafood restaurant, Gordon's on the Pier!

Imagine me eating and interviewing at the same time.  Not the most sensible combination, but it made for a very fun and entertaining interview!  Needless to say, the Chilean sea bass was perfectly cooked, nice and tender with a burst of Caribbean flavors to flirt with the palate.
