Tina Gao's Chow

Ever since I moved to the U.S. with my family in 1987 from China, I've been drawn to everything Disney, from dolls to movies to playing dress up!  I remember the first time I visited Disney with my family as a young child and I'll never forget the magic.  The vivid memories stay with me today.  Experiencing the parks was like being in a dream or alternate universe where all my Disney fantasies and imaginations came alive, from meeting the characters to going on the awesome rides.  Disney has always held a special and unique place in my heart and I was beyond ecstatic when I found out I would be traveling to Disney for a MAGIC 106.7 broadcast!  Thank you, Universe!

I was at Disney from 4/30-5/3 and although we caught the start of Orlando's rainy season, we had a fabulous time and boy did we eat!  We had a dinner reservation on our first evening at Epcot's Tutto Italia Ristorante and this culinary experience was truly unbelievable.  The flavors were simple, yet so vibrant!

Picture above are: Risotto Zafferano e Gamberetti (Aborio rice, saffron, shrimp, tomato), Caesar Salad (Romaine wedge, olive crostini, shaved Parmesan), Calamari Fritti (Marinara piccante), Grande Antipasto Misto (Chef's selection of various appetizers and specialties, a generous platter served family style), Torta di Nocciole "Cortemilia" (Polenta cake, hazelnuts, Nutella, mascarpone) and yummy dessert biscuits!

And by the way, we want to send YOU, our fabulous listeners, to Disney!  How about 5 days and 4 nights?!  All you need to do is "Like" MAGIC 106.7 on Facebook by clicking and entering here: http://bit.ly/Magicvacation

Good luck & Buon appetito!

Tina
