It is now officially springtime at our house…the lawn has been mowed for the first time this year! I love the smell of freshly cut grass and the feeling of accomplishment that goes along with this weekly ritual…continuing to baffle 95% of my neighbors with their lawn service! But, I wonder …can I continue this all spring and summer long? The price of gasoline for my mower is now 4 dollars a gallon! What if the price continues to climb, as some are predicting, to 5 dollars a gallon by mid summer? Is it possible we could pay 8 or 9 dollars a gallon like they do in England or France? If they didn’t have such small yards, they would probably be panicking, too. Oh well, guess I have gone on this tirade long enough…anyway, I’ve run out of gas!  I told you not to take this seriously.
