Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I always look forward to the day when all the usual suspects gather together to enjoy food, football and more food! This year we celebrated Thanksgiving early. I guess you could say we had a non-Thanksgiving Day. For one reason or another, we all could not be together for the big day on the 25^th. It was decided by one of the younger generation that we should pick a day and have an early gathering in their home. And so we did! This past Sunday, we were all together to share the joy of our family and give thanks for all of our many blessings. We had a delicious turkey dinner with all the trimmings. To add a little authenticity to the day, ‘Charlie Brown’s Thanksgiving’ was in the DVD player. Our tradition stayed intact…and now I have a second opportunity to really overeat on the real day! For those of you who are celebrating this national holiday next week… Happy Thanksgiving…a little early!
