Thursday is the Annual "Men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health" event under the Gala Tent at the Codman Square Health Center in Dorchester. It’s a grand evening of music, incredible food and a chance to mingle with some local celebrities such as Governor Deval Patrick, Channel 5’s Mike Wankum, Senator Scott Brown, and Channel 4’s Jonathan Elias. We’ll all be wearing matching aprons and serving up signature dishes from Boston area restaurants.

Since 1995, Men of Boston Cook for Women’s Health has raised crucial funds to combat women’s health disparities in issues such as breast cancer, diabetes, heart disease, and HIV/AIDS for over 20,000 women in Dorchester. Tickets cost $150.00 but $100.00 of every ticket goes directly to supporting women’s health programs.
