THEY'RE FAMOUS BECAUSE?

Who are the Kardashians? They keep popping up in the Morning Magic Showbiz Update and in the news, but who are these people and why do millions of people watch them strut around their Calabasas, California house on 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' each week? The family is headed by matriarch Kris Jenner and the show starred the three children of her and her late husband Robert Kardashian – a defense attorney widely known for his role in the OJ Simpson murder trial. Bruce Jenner, a former Olympic decathloner, is now their new stepdad and frequently gets into arguments with Kim, Kourtney and Khloe. The three sisters not only display their parent's love of the letter 'k,' but have enough voluminous, shiny brown hair to populate several shampoo commercials. Besides owning a clothing boutique together and having a penchant for sports players (Kim has had an on-again, off-again relationship with the New Orleans Saints' Reggie Bush and Khloe is married to LA Laker (boo) Lamar Odom), the sisters seem to entertain best by just being their celebutante selves.

So WHY do we give air time to these three? Because we are so over Paris and Nicky Hilton.
