Gay Vernon has been a fixture on morning radio since four Presidents ago (first term). In fall 1991, Gay became the News Director of MAGIC 106.7 and has been a key ingredient in the ratings success of MORNING MAGIC. Gay is the producer of the weekly Public Affairs program Boston Life, with guests ranging from local soup kitchen operators to President Barack Obama. She is also the co-host of MAGIC 106.7's award-winning program, EXCEPTIONAL WOMEN, which has won 17 Gracie Allen Awards (a national record). Over the past fifteen years, she has interviewed women who have made headlines, such as First Lady Laura Bush, former First Lady Rosalynn Carter, Lesley Stahl, Doris Kearns Goodwin, Leslie Caron, Lily Tomlin, Eartha Kitt, and Judy Collins.

Gay's father, Mickey Vernon, was a former Red Sox 1st baseman and two-time American League batting champion.
