Slowly does it!

I try to take care of myself as far as getting pyhsical activity. I lift weights, walk a lot and run wind sprints along with taking my vitamins and a few supplements. There's this great park near my house that has baseball fields that I like to walk to, then do my wind sprints on the field.
 
Today I got up, knew that the forecast was calling for unbelievable heat and humidity, so I had to make a decision. Do I do the long walk and wind sprints in the sizzle?  Mind you, I've done this before and my body and head has always felt a little weird when it's humid. Today and tomorrow though, it's super oppresive humidity. and the heat index is through the roof.
 
So I made the executive decision to not do the walk or sprints, and not allow myself to feel like a slacker or lazy. I used my head to take it a bit slower today and tomorrow. Use yours, too. Just take everything slower. Nothing is as important as your health. Now let's go get an ice cream!

    Dan, how does caramel, cashew nut, chip ice cream from Kimbal's farm sound? One summer, my husband and I had it every week, deeelicious. The lines are alway's long, so a person, has to be very patient!
