Of course one of the many highlights for me was going to AT&T Park for a baseball game. I saw the Giants knock the boogies out of the Reds in a 16 to 5 debacle. It was very exciting, lots of home runs, triples and doubles! I had great seats right at third base eight rows back. The seats were comfortable, roomy and plenty of leg room. The vendors were coming around constantly with ice cold lemonade, churros, yup churros, kettle corn, cotton candy and a variety of other offerings but no hot dogs and no beer!!!
When I'm in the confines of friendly Fenway I always have my cell phone with me and I can never hear it ring due to the crowd noise. Even if nothing's going on I still can't hear it because everyone is so jacked up to be at a Red Sox game, and my God if something exciting happens or even just a single you can't hear the person next to you. So I guess what I'm trying to say is no matter how comfortable the seats are at another ball park or how much leg room you have and no matter how many times the churro guy comes around; you can give me small seats intended for smaller people decades ago with lousy leg room, or one of the guys in the bright yellow shirts slingin' peanuts around and a couple of Fenway franks and a cold beer and I'm a happy happy man. I wouldn't trade Fenway or our fans for anything in the world.
