While “The Leftovers” and “Switched at Birth” couldn’t be more different, they have one thing in common: they’re both returning in 2015!

Producers of “The Leftovers” got word today that the HBO drama would return for a second season next year.

“It has been truly exciting to see the overwhelming response to their provocative and original storytelling,” HBO Programming president said in the official release. “We look forward to continuing the journey as the show delves deeper into the lives of those who remain.”

The first season of the increasingly twisty hour-long series will wrap up on Sunday, September 7.

ABC Family also handed out some good news to “Switched at Birth,” a reliable performer for the network that will be back for a fourth season, according to “The Hollywood Reporter.”

Season 3 will come to a close on August 18, and from the sound of it, it’s a must-see episode.

“Fans will be clamoring for season four and to know what happens with Daphne and Bay after the season 3 finale next week,” ABC Family president Tom Ascheim said (via “THR”).
