Captain America is probably puffing out his chest right now.
The hero, or more realistically Marvel, won a battle against DC this week in the fight for superhero supremacy.
According to “The Wrap,” Warner Bros. has moved the release date for their “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” movie out of the way of “Captain America 3.”
While the latter film will stay put on May 6, 2016, “Dawn of Justice” is now coming on March 25, 2016.
It’s probably a good move for WB, considering that the Captain is a proven entity in two films.
Henry Cavill’s Superman is the only member of this Justice League lineup who has been a proven box office success, with Ben Affleck making his debut in the cape and cowl in “Dawn,” along with Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman.
Don’t worry, there will be more than enough superhero goodness coming to the near future, including “Avengers: Age of Ultron” and “Justice League.”
