The rumors were true: Nicki Minaj really did delay the release of “Anaconda” because of a new remix with Beyonce.

But that news is small potatoes, thanks to one of Bey’s verse on their “Flawless” collaboration, “Billboard” reports.

“Of course sometimes s*** goes down when there’s a billion dollars on an elevator,” she sings on the track, which was released over the weekend.

Beyonce is clearly referring to the video of her sister, Solange, seemingly attacking Jay Z in an elevator was released on TMZ.

The trio tried to put the rumors about the incident to bed with a joint statement (via the Associated Press):

“Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility… in this private matter that has played out in the public,” the statement reads (via the AP). “They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.”

The much-hyped remix will probably give Nicki a boost when she releases “Anaconda” for real this week.
