Jamie Foxx wants to be like Mike. Mike Tyson, that is.
The “Django Unchained” star was just hired to play the polarizing boxer in a biopic, according to “Variety.”
The Mike Tyson project will be written by acclaimed writer-producer, who penned the Oscar-winning “Wolf of Wall Street.”
The timeline for what parts of Tyson’s life will be covered the film has not been revealed, so it’s unclear whether the infamous Evander Holyfield fight will make the cut.
Because Tyson is a man of many talents, he’s lending his voice to a new animated Adult Swim series called “Mike Tyson Mysteries.”
The “Scooby-Doo”-esque show will follow him solving crimes with help from a ghost by the name of Marquess of Queensbury, a talking pigeon and his adopted daughter, Yung Hee.
