From “300: Rise of an Empire” to “Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,” Eva Green obviously loves a director with a unique sense of style.
So it’s a no-brainer that she’s said to be negotiating the lead role in Tim Burton’s next movie, “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.”
The decision, which would reteam Green with her “Dark Shadows” director, is almost as perfect as pairing Burton himself with the material.
“Miss Peregrine’s Home” is being adapted from a dark novel about a teen named Jacob on a remote island near Wales who “discovers the crumbling ruins” of the titular home, according to author Ransom Riggs’ official site.
Riggs has already published a sequel, “Hollow City,” and he is writing the third installment, which does not yet have a name but is scheduled for release in 2015.
The other roles have not yet been cast, but you’d better believe that there’s a part in there for Burton’s partner and frequent collaborator, Helena Bonham Carter.
