Boom! TNT isn’t hesitating when it comes to renewing a good chunk of their summer slate.

New summer drama “The Last Ship,” from creator Michael Bay,” received a pickup for a 13-episode sophomore run, according to the official press release.

Meanwhile, “Major Crimes” has been renewed for a 15-episode fourth season, and “Falling Skies” will be back with 10 more episodes to end the show’s run after five seasons.

As for the rest of the summer series, “Rizzoli & Isles” has not been picked up, but rest assured that it will.

On the scripted side, that leaves the futures of “Perception” and new drama “Murder in the First” up in the air.

In August, “Dallas” and “Franklin & Bashwill return, along with Sean Bean’s “Legends.”

What do you think of these renewals? Are you bummed that “Falling Skies” is ending or excited that it’ll be wrapped up?
