fun.
guitarist Jack Antonoff is everywhere these days, promoting his new solo project, Bleachers.

The singer, whose first single “I Wanna Get Better” stands at no. 21 on the Hot 100, talked about the changing face of pop music.

During an interview with GQ, he explained why he thinks Taylor Swift, who he calls “one of the best songwriters ever," stands head and shoulders above the rest of her peers.

“Taylor Swift is cool, because she’s the closest thing today that hearkens to Michael Jackson – to great pop music,” he told “GQ.” “There’s a difference between her and Gaga and Katy Perry and Lily Allen and all that. It all feels throwaway, comparatively.”

Antonoff might be a tad biased, considering he co-wrote her song “Sweeter Than Fiction” with her and Swift is good pals with his girlfriend, Lena Dunham.

Bleachers’ debut album, “Strange Desire,” dropped this week. What do you think of Jack’s comments about TSwift? Share your take in the comments!
