As if! Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are not feuding on the set of their new movie, “The Nest.”
A rep for Poehler confirmed to Gossip Cop that the reports of their not getting along were a “total fabrication.”
It all started in a report from OK Magazine, which said that while they were playing sisters in the new comedy, their relationship closer to Joan Fontaine and Olivia de Havilland than the Olsen twins.
“Amy is acting like she’s in charge, and it’s driving Tina crazy,” a “source” allegedly told OK. “She told Amy that she needs to chill out, but it only infuriated Amy more… [it’s] weird because they’ve always been so close.”
That would be odd, considering that the pair has hosted two Golden Globes shows, been on “Saturday Night Live” together for several seasons and co-starred in “Baby Mama.”
It’s still nice to hear that they’re getting along just fine, as “The Nest” is quickly becoming one of our most highly-anticipated movies of 2015.
The Paula Pell-penned feature, which co-stars Maya Rudolph and Ike Barinholtz (“The Mindy Project”), will follow the duo playing sisters who return to their hometown to sell their parents’ home and throw one last rager.
