Kanye West
reportedly refuses to be filmed for “Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” but he doesn’t hate TV altogether.

Several years ago, he starred in a failed pilot, and in a clip captured by TMZ, he details his best method for keeping his fans from cramping his style on the road.

Never one to beat around the bush, Kanye says he simply starts snapping at whomever he’s speaking with on the phone so they’re are too afraid to approach him.

If they still do, he’ll play nice, but “they’ll still hear the frustration in your voice.”

TMZ didn’t confirm whether it’s HBO’s “Untitled Kanye West Comedy Project,” a “Curb Your Enthusiasm”-style improvised comedy from 2007.

Comedian Wyatt Cenac screened the full pilot of that project at a comedy show last year, but either way, it seems to be pretty sound advice for celebs trying not to alienate their fans.
