Fresh from the release of “Animal Ambition,” 50 Cent is back in the game.

The Chicago rapper isn’t resting on his laurels, either. He teased on Instagram this week that he was teaming up with Common on something “big.”

“Ran into COMMON we on the move BIG THINGS TO COME,” he captioned a selfie of the two together.

Common will drop his next album, “Nobody Smiling,” on July 22. It’s about time, considering his last record dropped all the way back in 2011.

But it’s hard to fault him, as he has a lot of irons in the fire, including a series regular role on AMC’s “Hell on Wheels,” which returns later this summer.

Kicking off his summer is “Diamonds,” a new track on which he collaborated with Big Sean.

Common shared the full track list for “Nobody’s Smiling” last month, and 50 Cent is nowhere to be seen, so their collaboration is still a bit of a mystery.
