50 Cent
has that animal ambition, but Ja Rule claims he’s got the truth on his side when it comes to their famed brawl.

The rapper did an interview with Hot 97 this week, insisting that despite the public perception that 50 beat him up, it was the other way around, and he had the restraining order to prove it.

“Absolutely. Absolutely… What happened was I see him in Atlanta… We get to talking, and the talk got heated because I got mad, and I start screaming at him and telling him that he was a b**** and this, that and the third,” he said.

Ja Rule says he happened to have a bat on hand with him, and he hit 50 with the bat, and their crews got into it.

From there, he says his rap rival started doing interviews where he was saying that he knocked Ja out.

“I’m gonna give y’all the reason people believe 50. He’s buff, you know, he’s got his intimidating little snarl… And people fall for it. But really, he’s not that dude. He’s not that dude.”

The incident will also be featured in Ja Rule’s new book, “Unruly: The Highs and Lows of Becoming a Man.” What do you think of his story? Sound off in the comments!
