Katy Perry should know that if you “wanna play with magic,” you might get burned.
The pop diva is being sued by a Christian rapper named Flame over her no. 1 hit “Dark Horse,” according to the “Daily Mail.”
Flame, 32, claims that she stole the beat from his 2008 song “Joyful Noise” for the song, and not only that.
He also says that his track has been “irreparably tarnished by its association with the witchcraft, paganism, black magic, and Illuminati imagery evoked by the same music in ‘Dark Horse.’”
This isn’t the first controversy that Perry has faced for the single. She also came under fire for including a pendant worn by a man that formed the word “Allah,” the Arabic word for God.
A Change.org petition earned more than 65,000 signatures and referred the video as “blasphemy” since the man wearing it is set on fire.
