Say what you want about Maroon 5, but they’re one of the most low-maintenance acts consistently dropping Billboard hits.

The no-frills pop rockers released the music video for their latest single, “Maps,” without much fanfare a few days after the song’s release in June.

The somewhat graphic video (via "Billboard") opens with the band’s frontman, Adam Levine, entering the emergency room, rewinding the night and how he ended up there.

Levine continues to prove that he “doesn’t care if you like him,” kissing another girl at the party in front of his girlfriend.

Obviously, in real life he’s not that guy, as he’s soon to wed his longtime girlfriend, supermodel Behati Prinsloo.

Despite the song’s upbeat hook, let’s just say that it doesn’t necessarily have a happy ending. “Maps” is the leadoff release from Maroon 5’s “V,” which will be released on September 2.
