If you haven’t watched the final season premiere of “True Blood,” now is the time to avert your eyes.

Otherwise, if you’ve stopped crying from the abrupt and tragic death of Tara (Rutina Wesley) on Sunday night’s episode, there’s a silver lining.

According to TVLine, just because Tara is dead, that doesn’t mean the character is gone forever.

Wesley herself told the site that her character would continue to appear in the hallucinations of her mother, Lettie Mae Daniels (Adina Porter).

Lettie Mae was there the night her daughter was killed, and as evident by the final scene in the premiere, she has no forgiveness for Tara’s BFF Sookie (Anna Paquin).

The news has not yet gotten back to the late vampire’s lover, Pam (Kristin Bauer Van Straten) – who is on a rescue mission for her maker, Eric – but rest assured, it will.

“True Blood” will continue its 10-episode final run on Sundays at 9pm on HBO. What did you think of last night’s twist?
