Robin Thicke is very, very sorry.

That’s clear from the fact that he’s devoted not only his latest single, “Get Her Back,” but also his entire forthcoming album after his estranged wife, Paula Patton.

The record, “Paula,” will hit stores on July 1, but for now, the full video for “Get” will have to suffice.

The black-and-white music video certainly sheds new light on their relationship. Aside from the video’s female star, a Patton lookalike kept shrouded in shadows, there is also a series of texts appearing on screen.

The messages, presumably a back-and-forth between himself and his high school sweetheart, “You drink too much” and “You embarrassed me,” and – on the flip side – “I wrote a whole album about you.”

After his futile efforts to, as the title suggests, get her back, the video ends with one final text: “This is just the beginning.”

Check out the video for “Get Her Back” and let us know if you think Paula should take him back in the comments!
