Kesha
is back and doing a whole lot more than just dropping the dollar sign.

From the “Timber” singer’s own mouth, it sounds like she’s shaking up her sound for her follow-up to 2012’s “Warrior.

“I’m working on some new music that I don’t think anyone expects to be the type of music I’m working on,” she told “People.”

Obviously, Kesha’s also pretty tied up with her new gig, judging ABC’s “Rising Star” alongside Ludacris and Brad Paisley.

“I feel like I have a lot to do!” she said, an unusual understatement for the larger-than-life star.

Kesha has teased in the past that she was hoping for more creative control in her relationship with prolific producer Dr. Luke, after her collaborative album with the Flaming Lips – combined to make “Lip$ha” – was delayed indefinitely.

The Lips tweeted last month, writing, “[Lip$ha] is still comin!!! Soon as Ke$ha works out her stuff with Luke.”

Would you be open to Kesha making a musical shift or do you want more of the stuff that made her a star? Sound off in the comments!
