A Great Big World
is looking for a great big stage -- Broadway, specifically.

The "Say Something" hitmakers and "Glee" favorites tell us they're at work on a stage musical, which Chad Vaccarino says is a work in progress at the moment:

"We've been working on it for a year and a half. We're more than halfway done. There are producers on board. It's an original story. It's a comedy. We can't really give too many details of what it's about yet, 'cause I don't think it's been officially announced. But it's our music, basically, on steroids. We're writing the songs we would write, but we're taking more liberties 'cause it's for the stage. Anything we want to do we can do."

AGBW is, of course, mixing the musical with the group's own work; Vaccarino and Ian Axel are in the midst of a North American tour that wraps up July 1.

They have dates in London, Australia, New Zealand, Korea, Japan and China during July and August, with European dates set for September.
