After being in critical condition since the fatal June 7 car crash, Tracy Morgan has been upgraded to fair condition.

“Happy to pass along that Tracy has been upgraded to fair condition, which is a great improvement. His personality is certainly starting to come back as well,” his publicist, Lewis Kay, said in a statement to “Variety.”

The "30 Rock" actor was critically injured after a Walmart truck slammed into the back of a limo bus in which he was riding in on the New Jersey Turnpike. He was hospitalized with broken ribs, a broken nose, a broken femur and a broken leg.

The accident also led to the death of comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair, along with injuries to Morgan’s assistant and two others in the limo.

The truck driver, Kevin Roper, turned himself into police the night of the crash and has pleaded not guilty to charges of vehicular homicide and assault by auto.

Morgan is likely to remain in the hospital for the next several weeks.
