Zendaya
is still a Disney girl, but that doesn’t mean she can’t “shake it up.”

The actress has been cast to play Aaliyah in a Lifetime Original Movie, according to TV By the Numbers.

Zendaya will sing four of the late R&B great’s songs in “Aaliyah: Princee of R&B,” which will chronicle the life of the star who was gone too soon.

It will take on her “Star Search” debut, her rise to fame, and the tragic plane crash that led to her death on August 25, 2001.

Though “Shake It Up” is over, the ex-“Dancing with the Stars” contestant’s time on Disney isn’t over yet.

Along with her new movie “Zapped,” which will lead into the premiere of “Girl Meets World” on Friday, June 27, she’ll also play the lead in another upcoming Disney series.

In “K.C. Undercover,” she’ll play a live-action “Kim Possible” of sorts who is a “math whiz” and is “training to be an undercover super spy,” per Deadline.
