Tracy Morgan
did undergo surgery on his leg after the fatal car crash that left him in critical condition, but he will not lose the limb.

A rep for the “30 Rock” star tells the “NY Daily News,” “Rumors about amputating his leg are completely fabricated. Tracy had surgery on his broken leg.”

The driver in the crash, Wal-Mart trucker Kevin Roper, was arrested following the crash that led to the death of comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair. Per Fox News, he was charged with death by auto and four counts by auto.

Morgan, who is engaged to Megan Wolliver, will reportedly have a long recovery. But now FX Networks has weighed in, stating that his recently announced FXX comedy isn’t going anywhere.

“We will support Tracy and his family every way possible throughout his recovery,” reads a statement (via “Entertainment Weekly”). “At the point when Tracy has recovered and decides that he is ready to go back to work, his show will be waiting for him.”
