While being kidnapped is never a great thing,
Jennifer Aniston has perhaps the most unfortunate kidnapping we’ve ever seen on film.

In the first trailer, via “Entertainment Weekly,” he plays the wife of a rich man (Tim Robbins) who files for divorce, not long before she is kidnapped by a group of men planning to extort her husband for the money.

Of course, he doesn’t even want her, as he’s moved on to his girlfriend (Isla Fisher). That won’t stop the kidnappers – played by Yasiin Bey (nee Mos Def) and John Hawkes – from seeking their ransom.

The film comes from the late Elmore Leonard, the prolific author behind “Justified” and “Jackie Brown.”

“EW” notes that Bey and Hawkes’s characters are actually younger versions of Robert De Niro and Samuel L. Jackson from the latter film.
