It’s the end of the line for the folks of Bon Temps.
“True Blood” is returning for its final season next month, and not everyone is going to make it out alive.
The first trailer for the HBO drama's 10-episode seventh run has debuted, and Sookie (Anna Paquin) is taking some responsibility for the drama that has taken over her small Louisiana town.
“People blame me for what’s happened to this town. I can’t take it if anybody else died because of me,” she says.
But death is certainly coming, including what appears to be a pretty shocking death based on Sookie’s protestations.
Season 7 picks up after the events of the finale, in which vampires paired up with humans in order to keep them safe after a Hepatitis-V outbreak has made both clans particularly vulnerable.
While there’s not much else we can say in the way of big resurrections – Eric included – we’re always excited to see Sookie’s Gran (Lois Smith).
“True Blood” begins its final season on Sunday, June 22 at 9pm.
