Top-rated cable network FX isn’t resting on their laurels this summer.
The network announced their summer schedule, which includes four new series and the return of a critical darling, TVLine reports.
First things first, new drama “Tyrant” will debut on Tuesday, June 24 at 10pm. From “Homeland” co-creator Howard Gordon, the show centers on a man who brings his family back to his homeland in the Middle East.
After “The Bridge” returns for its sophomore season on Wednesday, July 9, Guillermo del Toro’s vampire outbreak drama “The Strain” will bow on Sunday, July 13 at 10pm, starring Corey Stoll (“House of Cards”), Sean Astin and Francis Capra (“Veronica Mars”).
Later in the summer, FX will unveil a new marriage-themed comedy block, kicking things off with “Married” on Thursday, July 17 at 10pm.
At 10:30, the Nat Faxon and Judy Greer-starring comedy will be followed by “You’re the Worst.”
On a bittersweet note, “Wilfred” will also be back for its final season on Wednesday, June 25 at 10pm.
