Alec Baldwin
has apparently resumed his public life.

The “30 Rock” actor was reportedly arrested in New York on Tuesday. He was cuffed for riding his bike the wrong way down a street in the city, “People” reports.

“He was riding his bicycle the wrong way on Fifth Avenue and didn’t have ID on him, so he was arrested,” an insider tells “People.”

Baldwin gave an update on Twitter, admitting to being arrested for the traffic error.

"Meanwhile, photographers outside my home ONCE AGAIN terrified my daughter and nearly hit her with a camera. The police did nothing," he said, adding:

The embattled star has been vocal about his battles with living his life publicly in the past, including tiffs both with the press in person and on Twitter.

In a “New York” magazine piece called “Good-bye, Public Life,” Baldwin wrote, “Now I loathe and despise the media in a way I did not think possible.”

He closed the essay that he was going to stay private in the future, even going so far as to side with Shia LaBeouf, with whom he had a famous feud.

Coming down the pipeline for Baldwin in his professional life is the next Cameron Crowe project, which co-stars Emma Stone, Rachel McAdams and Bradley Cooper and is due out on Christmas.
