A Los Angeles judge is looking into the location of broadcasting legend Casey Kasem.
According to the “L.A. Times,” his wife Jean’s own lawyer has no idea where the 82-year-old star, who suffers from advanced Parkinson’s disease, is at present.
While his daughter from a previously marriage, Kerri Kasem, was named his conservator, she believes his wife has possibly taken him out of the States.
“I believe my father’s wife fled the country (or possibly went to an Indian Reservation) with my Dad because she knew I would win in court today,” she wrote on Facebook on Monday.
The family was in the news over the past months over the public battle between Jean Kasem and Casey’s children, who claimed that she was keeping him from them.
Among other things, Kasem is well-known for hosting the syndicated “American Top 40” for years and for voicing Shaggy in the “Scooby-Doo” franchise.
