Trophy Wife
Late last night, ABC picked up several of its biggest hits, while a few others were not so lucky.

On the drama side, returning next fall will be “Revenge,” “Once Upon a Time,” “Castle,” “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,”  “Nashville” and “Resurrection.

As for the half-hour series, freshman comedy “The Goldbergs,” “Modern Family,”  “Last Man Standing” and “The Middle” were renewed, according to TVLine.

Unfortunately, Malin Akerman’s “Trophy Wifewas given the boot, along with "Suburgatory," "Super Fun Night," “Mixology” and “The Neighbors.

On the reality side, "The Bachelor," "Shark Tank," "Dancing with the Stars" and "America's Funniest Home Videos" have all been greenlit for new seasons.

For the 2014-2015 TV season, the Alphabet network went ahead and added several new series, including “How to Get Away with Murder,” which comes from Shonda Rhimes and stars Viola Davis.

A crime procedural titled “Forever,” starring Ioan Gruffudd as an immortal M.E. was given a series order, as was “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” with Hayley Atwell reprising her role from “Captain America.”

Alien drama “The Whispers” received a pickup, as did “American Crime” from John Ridley (“12 Years a Slave”)

With comedies, ABC is betting on musical fairy tale “Galavant,” a modern “My Fairy Lady” adaptation called “Selfie,” the Anthony Anderson-starring “Black-ish” and rom-com “Manhattan Love Story.”
