Monica Lewinsky is back in the news with a big spread in “Vanity Fair.”
In the piece, which she wrote herself, the former White House intern explains that she is trying to reclaim her life after being “possibly the first person whose global humiliation was driven by the Internet.”
Beyond that, though, she threw a bit of shade at Beyonce for in her mind incorrectly referencing her in a dirty lyric from “Partition.”
“Thanks, Beyonce, but if we’re verbing, I think you meant ‘Bill Clinton’d all on my gown,’ not ‘Monica Lewinsky’d,” she said.
Lewinsky made it clear in the feature that her affair with the President was consensual, and she continues to regret her actions to this day.
“[B]ecause of what potential employers so tactfully referred to as my ‘history,’ I was never ‘quite right’ for the position,” she also wrote in “Vanity Fair.”
With that comment, it looks like Monica Lewinsky could be the next victim of “The Beygency.” Read more of the preview at vanityfair.com and sound off on her correction in the comments!
