"American Idol" judge Keith Urban is getting ready for his latest endeavor -- the "Light The Fuse" Guitar Collection, a new line of instruments that he'll launch May 18 on the Home Shopping Network.

Urban rolled out another guitar line, the URBAN Guitar collection, last year via HSN, which was an instant sell-out.

The limited-edition new line includes two different guitars, one electric and the other acoustic-electric, in five flame maple burst finishes; each comes in a package with an amplifier, guitar strings, carrying case, picks and a DVD tutorial for Urban, retailing for $289.95.

The guitars would likely sell well based solely on Urban's music success, but he tells us that judging "Idol" has given any project he does a little bit of a higher profile:

"There's some people coming along who have never seen us before; I know that 'cause in the meet and greet they come in and comment they're fans of 'Idol' but they've never seen me play before, so that's really cool. On the whole it seems pretty good. What I love about it is they know me before I walk out on the stage; that's a huge help for an artist. You know, like, they've never seen me play but they know me...from watching the show. I'm exactly like that. It's not like I'm a different person from that. So there's an immediate sense of familiarity, and that's a great way to start any show with an audience."

Urban will be part of the We're All For The Hall benefit for the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville on Tuesday (May 6) and also plays at the CMA Music Festival on June 7 in Nashville before starting a tour in his native Australia on June 14.

His Raise 'Em Up Tour of North America begins July 12 in Calgary.
