Justin Bieber had a wild night out in Toronto earlier this year, where he had a run-in with another embattled public figure.
Toronto’s “The Star” reports that Bieber ran into the city’s mayor, Rob Ford, at a club on March 15.
When Ford attempted to shake the young singer’s hand, Bieber reportedly joked, “Did you bring any crack to smoke?”
The mayor was then escorted back to his booth by security, and he just this week he announced that he'll take a leave of absence from his position to check into rehab.
“I have a problem with alcohol, and the choices I have made while under the influence,” he said (via HuffPost), adding, “…I have decided to take a leave from campaigning and from my duties as Mayor to seek immediate help.”
Bieber’s legal team, meanwhile were able to finagle a delay in the trial stemming from his Miami arrest, according to the BBC.
Originally set for early May, the trial will now take place in July, as he has been charged with DUI, driving on an expired license and resisting arrest.
