Goodbye McKinley, hello Rydell High!

Just as “Glee” is heading for its last season and leaving Ohio behind, FOX has announced that it’s re-enrolling in high school with a live production of “Grease.”

The three-hour “Grease LIVE” is set to air in 2015, in the style of NBC’s “Sound of Music” last holiday season, according to the official press release.

“From Broadway to film, and across generations, ‘Grease’ is one of the most beloved musical stories ever told – and we can’t wait to bring it to our air in a spectacular live event,” FOX’s Shana C. Waterman said in the statement.

It’s a bit early for casting scoop, though some of the “Glee” cast could be shoo-ins for roles, considering that the show did a “Glease” episode in season 4.

Though reviews were mixed on Carrie Underwood’s “Music,” the show garnered spectacular ratings, with the Peacock Network already planning another live musical, “Peter Pan,” near Christmas 2014.
