Embattled “Scandal” star Columbus Short has confirmed his exit from the ABC hit after three seasons.

Short, who played Pope & Associates’ Harrison Wright, released a statement on Friday, TVLine reports.

“Thank you GLADIATORS, who have supported me throughout my entire career and of course to ABC and Shondaland for allowing me to play such a pivotal role in the Scandal series. I have enjoyed every single minute of it,” Short said in the statement (via TVLine). “Everything must come to an end and unfortunately the time has come for Harrison Wright to exit the canvas.”

Short continued by thanking creator Shonda Rhimes, as well as Kerry Washington and the rest of the cast.

The actor, whose character was last seen being held at gunpoint, is facing domestic violence charges after allegedly threatening his wife’s life. He was also arrested after a reported bar fight earlier this year.
