The impending end of “True Blood” is about to leave a supernatural hole in the summer TV landscape, and “Witches of East End” is already making a serious bid to fill the void.

Lifetime dropped the first promo for the cable hit’s second season (via TVLine), and viewers won’t have to wait until October to see more of the bewitching Beauchamp women.

The show will return this summer, and based on the soundtrack to the teaser, Marilyn Manson’s “The Beautiful People,” the new episodes will be darker and more stylish than ever.

Though Penelope Gardiner (Virginia Madsen) – or Mommie Dearest, as we’d taken to calling her – was quickly dispatched at the end of last season, her boys Dash (Eric Winter) and Killian (Daniel DiTomasso) are only beginning to discover their magic.

Complicating things is the opening of the portal to Asgard, where the core four witches – Freya, Ingrid, Wendy and Joanna – hail from, perhaps bringing the younger pair’s long-lost brother to East End.

Watch it now and share your take on the promo in the comments!
