This is no work of “Pulp Fiction”: Uma Thurman and her fiancée, Arpad Busson, have broken off their engagement.
The “Kill Bill” star and Busson, a hedge-fund manager, have reportedly called things off for a second time.
“Uma and Arki were due to attend a gala together on April 8, but Uma showed up without her engagement ring or her fiance,” a source tells “The Daily Mail.”
Thurman and Busson were first linked together in 2007, and they previously called off their first engagement back in 2009.
Together, they share a daughter, Rosalind Arusha Arkadina Altalune Florence, who was born in 2012, “Us Weekly” reports.
The actress made her return to the silver screen in Lars von Trier’s “Nymphomaniac,” appearing alongside Charlotte Gainsbourg, Shia LaBeouf and Christian Slater.
Last year, Thurman was also cast in another controversial project, a biopic of Anita Bryant, the famous singer who became a strident anti-gay rights activist.
