She's had her differences with
Beyonce in the past, but even LeToya Luckett was Jumpin’, Jumpin’” when Bey dropped her surprise album.

The singer was stopped by TMZ on the street, where she revealed that she had in fact purchased her former Destiny’s Child bandmate’s latest effort.

“I think it was awesome,” she said of the LP’s unscheduled release. “Genius.”

Luckett, who has released hit singles like “Torn” and her Ludacris collaboration “Regret,” confirmed that she is working on a new album herself.

As an actress, she has recurred on HBO’s “Treme” and the most recent season of VH1’s “Single Ladies,” which will move to Centric for season 4.

Luckett, who preceded Michelle Williams in Destiny’s Child, sued twice along with LaTavia Roberson after they were reportedly fired from the group.

However, Bey did give both of them shout-out after winning Billboard’s Millennium Award back in 2011.
