Chelsea Clinton
is no stranger to being the First Child, but now she’s having the first child of her own.

The 34-year-old revealed on Thursday that she and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, are expecting a baby together, “People” reports.

“Marc and I are very excited that we have our first child arriving later this year,” she said (via “People”). “I certainly feel all the better whether it’s a girl or a boy that she will grow up in [a] world filled with so many strong female leaders.”

Beyond that, she also tweeted her gratitude for the support, revealing that the child’s due date is this fall.

Chelsea has worked as an NBC News correspondent, and she is also heavily involved in her family’s non-profit organization, the Clinton Foundation.

Pretty soon, the child could also be the First Grandbaby, as Chelsea’s mother, Hillary Clinton, has finally confirmed that she is “thinking” about running for president in 2016.
