Despite previous reports that one of Paul Walker’s younger brothers would serve as a body double in order to complete work on “Fast and Furious 7,” nothing was official… until now.

On Tuesday, the franchise’s Facebook page published a post about the reasons for continuing filming on the project and inviting Caleb and Cody Walker to help finish “Fast 7,” which is due out next spring.

“Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production,” the post reads. “Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too.”

As for resuming production after Walker’s tragic death last year, they “felt the only choice was to continue.”

“We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that too,” the statement says. “Paul had already shot his dramatic scenes and most of his action for FAST & FURIOUS 7, and it’s among the strongest work of his career.”
