Oprah Winfrey came down hard on Lindsay Lohan on a recent episode of her OWN docuseries, but the struggling actress might have turned things around.

LiLo sat down with David Letterman for Wednesday’s episode of the “Late Show,” and the two decided to call up O out of the blue.

Surprising the talk show maven and network CEO, Dave asked her about her protégé’s progress since leaving rehab and filming “Lindsay.”

“No, I think she’s doing really okay,” she said (via the official press release). “I think, uh, you know, to have cameras following you around for every phase of your life, and you are trying to pull your life together, I think that’s a really difficult thing, so, yeah, we’re really pleased she’s making some progress,” she told him.

The CBS host then joked about why his former frenemy has never helped him pull his life together, leading Oprah to reveal that she and Letterman share a meditation teacher.
