NEW YORK, NY - JANUARY 28: Erin Andrews, analyst for FOX Sports, answers questions from the press during the FOX Sports media availablility in the Empire East Ballroom, at Super Bowl XLVIII Media Center at the Sheraton New York Times Square on January 28, 2014 in New York City.
While Erin Andrews was no stranger coming into “Dancing with the Stars,” her entrance was still not lacking in drama.

After Brooke Burke-Charvet was fired shortly before the new season, Andrews was brought in, almost instantly sparking reports of behind-the-scenes tension with producers and the dancers.

Yet the TV personality set the record straight in an interview with “TV Guide,” revealing that she was really insecure about the rumors and went straight to the source.

"I’ve got to be honest… It kind of got me worried and scared,” she told TVGuide.com. “I just went back and forth with the producers like, ‘Are we good here? Please tell me what I need to work on. Please tell me what I need to do.’ And they’re like, ‘We couldn’t be happier.’”

The former contestant joined the show at the start of season 18, which has featured an interesting twist in which the stars switched partners partway through the season.
