LOS ANGELES, CA - DECEMBER 18: Singer Mike Posner (L) and singer/producer Justin Bieber arrive at the premiere Of Open Road Films' 'Justin Bieber's Believe' at Regal Cinemas L.A. Live on December 18, 2013 in Los Angeles, California.
One person who's not worried about Justin Bieber these days is Mike Posner.

The "Cooler Than Me" hitmaker, who co-wrote Bieber's smash "Boyfriend," tells us that he's not buying into the consensus that his friend's very public legal and behavioral issues mean he's in meltdown mode:

"Oh, Justin, he's good, man. He's happy. I texted with him a couple weeks ago. Y'know, a lot of the stuff, being around him 'cause he's a friend of mine and we work together, I see a lot of stuff in the press that I know is not true. So his situation is very blown out of proportion. People think, you know, he's falling apart, but it's really not the case. Has he made a few mistakes? Probably. But it's not a self-destruction scenario."

Posner, meanwhile, is in the midst of a special Unplugged tour, which continues tonight (April 7) in Chicago. He's been previewing several new songs from his sophomore album, "Pages," which is due out later this year.
