LONDON, ENGLAND - OCTOBER 12: Ariana Grande attends the UK Premiere of Sam & Cat at Cineworld 02 Arena on October 12, 2013 in London, England.
Ariana Grande
has had a rough week, and she’s ready to “move on.”

While Drake Bell recanted after calling her “entitled” in a BuzzFeed interview without a word from Grande, the singer-actress had to defend herself when it came to the behind-the-scenes issues at Nickelodeon’s “Sam & Cat.”

Her co-star, Jennette McCurdy, revealed that she had skipped the Kids’ Choice Awards because the network treated her “unfairly.” Attention then turned to their salaries, with some claiming her anger stemmed from an imbalance between the two leads’ salaries.

Grande denied this in a public post (via Gossip Cop), stating that she and McCurdy “agreed upfront” that they would always seek equal treatment.

“As far as the show goes, I don’t know what’s happening because I’m not directly involved with the problem but I just wanted to address this one rumor in particular because I am NOT making more money than my costar, nor do I think I should be,” she wrote. “So we can all move on and get out of our heads that this was a money thing cause I don’t play like that at all.”
