James Franco has done just about everything: acting, producing and writing.
Now he’s doing it all in his latest film, “Palo Alto,” adapted from his short story collection of the same name.
In the trailer, Franco plays a soccer coach who develops an illicit affair with one of his players, played by Emma Roberts (“American Horror Story: Coven”), “Entertainment Weekly” reports.
The timing is a tad unfortunate for Franco, who this week has been accused of allegedly trying to meet up with a teenage fan he met at one of his “Of Mice and Men” performances.
After the report sparked a media firestorm, the actor tweeted, “I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. Thank you.”
Franco’s film also stars Val Kilmer, Chris Messina, Nat Wolff (“The Fault in Our Stars”) and “Pretty Little Liars” actor Keegan Allen.
“Palo Alto” will open in limited release on May 9. Do you plan to see it?
